Oil removal system from distilled water Tehran Oil Refining Company

Performing engineering design services, supplying materials and equipment, performing construction and installation, and other services, as described in Appendices 10 and 18, based on the technical documentation including the design booklet of the project “Oil Removal from Distilled Water from Available Units” , Atieh and increase of air units for water and electricity units, electricity and gas from the North and South Power Plant “in the North and South Refineries (No. 1 and 2), Tehran Oil Refining Company, along with other related equipment and supplies.

The Coalescer system is able to reduce the oil content to 4ppm of condensate water and recommend the use of activated carbon to reduce the oil to 0.1 ppm.

Activated carbon can reduce the amount of solvent input to the substrate to 0.1 PPm and provide the conditions for the condensate water reuse. Mineral soluble minerals in activated carbon water are minimized and therefore using this method, unlike coagulation and filtration of the material, no condensate water is added.

If the type of boilers in the refinery changes in the future and uses DM instead of soft water, the proposed Oil Removal unit will be appropriate.

The number of active carbon containers is considered to be 4 with a design capacity of 120 m3 / hr, of which three of the above containers are in service and one is Stand by.

In the output of the active carbon filters, an oil measuring device reports the amount of oil output from the system continuously, and if the oil level increases, it will notify the designer by sending warning signs to the user to find out the system.
